Great Conversations

I called Brooke on the way home tonight. This is how the end of our conversation went.

Me: Hey I have to tell you my news! I am going back to work at KW part time on a contract basis. It's perfect. I can schedule my own hours and pick when I want to go in the office

Brooke: Awesome! I have to go wipe Harper's butt

ME: Okay, do you want me to let you go?

Brooke: No. ....(pause).......(I imagine she saw Harper's butt) Well, yes. Congratulations!

Me: Thanks! Bye!

I am finally starting to feel back to normal after an excruciating Sunday of the ultimate stomach virus. Starting at 6am Sunday morning, it was non-stop until late afternoon. I'm talking every 30 minutes.... Last night I went to bed at 7:30 and didn't wake up again until 7 this morning. Eric was a lifesaver taking over completely and being "Mr. Mom" yesterday. Mason is staying with his Gran today so I have just a little bit more recovery and rest time. Besides feeling very weak and sore in the abdomen, I am beginning to feel back to normal today. However, up until Sunday, the weekend was a blast. Our friends Emily and Kevin came up to the cabin with us. Mason was a champ at sleeping and taking naps so I was able to enjoy the cabin a little more than normal.

I have a meeting this afternoon with Keller Williams Realty. We are discussing the possibility of me coming back to work on a contract basis which would allow me to create my own schedule. This would be an awesome opportunity for me and I am hoping that it works out. Please say a prayer that it does! I will keep you posted.

Okay, so I am a little crazy when it comes to diaper bags. I think I have been through about three or four and they didn't work for a variety of reasons. Whether it be material defects, me slamming the car door shut on it and breaking it, or it simply wasn't big enough, none of them have worked out. I have scoured online websites and have narrowed it down to a couple choices but I just can't decide which to go with. I love them both but there is a pretty significant price difference so I am sure I will end up going with the less expensive one.... BUT... If anyone has any input on one or the other, I would love your feedback.
