Boys will be Boys
It turns out Mason has 2 left feet. These were from the falls and accidents that actually left marks. This kids has tripped over his own feet more times than I can count. Bless his heart...and face.

It's the little things
Yesterday, I turned the big 3-0. Mason went with his grandparents to the cabin so we had a nice quiet weekend with Myla and we even carefully ventured out of the house for a bit. Having a one month old really helps you appreciate the little things. It was a great day! I stayed in bed til 8:30 while Eric watched Myla. Once we got out of the house, Eric took me to Starbucks and didn't even complain about my complicated order and how much a cup of coffee cost there. Our big outting of the day was the grocery store and Myla did great strapped to me in the Moby wrap. She slept the whole time. Success!
For my birthday lunch, I was seriously wanting some sushi but I felt weird taking a newborn to the swanky places like Virago and Wild Ginger. We found a somewhat new place that opened close to our house called Wokano and it was a combo Chinese and sushi place. It was surprisingly good and it satisfied my sushi craving. When we got home I fed Myla and Eric stayed home with her while I did a little shopping on my own. Bliss! Mason came home this morning and our house is crazy and loud again but I enjoyed my birthday and 30 doesn't feel so bad.

Myla's Newborn pics
I already posted some sneak peaks of Myla's newborn session but here are a few of my other favorites. Jennie Pyffereon, newborn baby photographer, did such an amazing job. She has so much patience to get these little newbies placed just right to get the best shot....and my little newbie was particularly difficult. You can check out her other work here.

I have one photo that I am holding out that's going on her birth announcement. I'll post that soon.
