Mason's Preschool Choir
Mason has been going to preschool choir practice for the last few months on Wednesday nights. Here was his BIG performance last week. In his defense he knew all the words because he was singing them at home all week. The video is long so if you just want to see the funny part start watching at 1:15-1:45.

Myla- 7 months
Myla turned 7 months last week. She is growing so fast and this girl is haaaappy! She is sitting up great and is reaching and lunging for items in front of her so I know before long she will be on the move.
We started solids and she loves almost everything we give her. The best thing she does is when Mason has a temper tantrum and throws himself on the floor, she thinks it's hilarious and belly laughs at him. Then I can't help but laugh too and it tears Mason up even more.
We are working on getting her to drink water from a sippy cup but she doesn't have much interest in it. I am not getting my hopes up since she won't take a bottle either. We are gonna work on that soon though cause I need a night out!
She still has those two teeth on the bottom and has been working on cutting the top tooth for a couple of weeks now.

And here are a few videos..

This face is hilarious. I think this is her sassy face.

Beach Photos
I posted most of these on Facebook but for those not on Facebook (MOM)..here they are :).
We got our pics back from our photo session at the beach. Audrey did a great job. We scheduled the pictures on one of the cooler days. Mason was in a grumpy mood, Myla had a snotty nose, and the beach was freezing and out of control windy. From these pictures you would never know that. That's when you know you have a great photographer. I can't say enough great things about her. Despite the circumstances out of our control, our time with her was very laid back and fun. Thank you, Audrey!!

Bragging on my husband
I just want to take a minute to brag on Eric because he accomplished something awesomely hard this past weekend. He completed the Ragnar Relay. What's this you ask? It's a relay race from Chattanooga to Nashville all on foot. . He was on a team of 12 and they take turns running 196 miles. Eric had 3 legs of the trip totaling just under 17 miles. Sure people run marathons all the time which is about 10 more miles than he did but when you rest for several hours in between runs and then start back up again it's much more difficult that doing a consecutive run.
He did great and during training he got way too skinny. I told him he needs to eat a cheeseburger..or 10 to put some weight back on.

Here he is at mile 16, running his last mile of his 3rd run. About 6am on Saturday morning.
The entire team crosses the finish line together. Eric had completed his last run several hours prior and changed into jeans. I had to clarify that so you didn't think he was one of those people that ran in jeans.
Mason was so proud of his daddy and begged to run with him to the finish line.
Never too tired to carry his boy.
